Creating a meaningful brand for a children’s nonprofit means breaking through the global competition to develop messaging and visuals that capture its culture.

Located in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Africa, Young Heroes provides financial, medical, educational and psychosocial support for HIV/AIDS orphans and vulnerable children.

Young Heroes’ visual branding was overhauled with a focus on powerful, commissioned photography. The website was redesigned for a responsive environment. The donation process was streamlined providing donors with a smoother experience and more options to give.

The site was named an Outstanding Website award winner (nonprofit) from the 2018 WebAwards and a 2018 GDUSA American Web Design Awards winner.

A style guide was conceived as short and easy-to-follow to be used in-country, as well as for deliverables produced in the US – including social media streams and videos.
