Entrepreneurial energy was an important part of the development of the Ventureneer brand – a digital startup that focused on helping “good businesses” learn and grow.
The Venture Crowd is the crowdfunding arm of Ventureneer. The program’s goal: Fund a report educating women entrepreneurs in the benefits of equity crowdfunding.
The project began by creating the narrative for the crowdfunding platform. The sub-brand logo was conceived based on the center element of its parent logo. The “V” element stands out from a crowd of circles. The visual identity is based on those elements and a subset color palette.

Brand graphics were carried across the website, social media campaigns, videos, animations, events and all integrated marketing.



The Venture Crowd surpassed its funding goal by 25%, and the report, Stand Out in The Crowd, has recorded over 20,000 downloads.



The SOTC report launched with event posters and branded swag bags as take-aways, along with a downloadable infographic.


Digital and print marketing materials included a social media campaign, progress plaques and branded pinback buttons.


Ventureneer’s heart logo represents its three target audiences – entrepreneurs, nonprofits and for-profit business with social impact. Iconic illustrations as silhouettes along with a bright color palette capture their energy and spirit. The visuals are flexible in use, providing numerous options for expansion and adaptation through a multi-phase launch.

The launch video, themed What Entrepreneurs and Nonprofit Execs Need to Succeed, highlighted the need for support teams and peer-to-peer support for business growth.

Ventureneer’s rollout included the downloadable ebook series, InConversation.

Infographics utilized figurative illustrations to aid in visual storytelling and social sharing.
